A Note From Me
Being part of your wedding is something I don’t take lightly.
My role is to create a ceremony that feels effortless, personal, and genuinely reflective of you both, while making the whole process feel easy and enjoyable along the way.
The below is just to keep things clear and running smoothly, so you can focus on what really matters.
My Services
I provide marriage celebrant services, along with support and guidance as you plan your ceremony.
Everything I offer is outlined on my website, but if you’re ever unsure or need a hand with anything, I’m always here.
Securing Your Date
A $250 deposit is required to lock in your wedding date.
The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day.
Changes, Cancellations & Postponements
Life doesn’t always go to plan, and I completely understand that.
If you need to make a change, just let me know as soon as you can. I’ll always approach things with care, fairness, and flexibility, and wherever possible your deposit can be transferred or refunded depending on the circumstances.
If the Unexpected Happens
In the unlikely event that I’m unable to be there on your wedding day, I will arrange a trusted and experienced celebrant to step in.
This will always be someone I genuinely trust and would feel completely confident having deliver your ceremony.
My Commitment to You
I care deeply about creating a ceremony that feels like you.
While I can’t promise perfection in every moment, I can promise that I will show up organised, calm, and fully invested in making your ceremony feel meaningful, relaxed, and memorable.
Photos & Kind Words
After your wedding, I may ask if you’d be happy for me to share a few photos or a testimonial.
There is absolutely no expectation here, only if you feel comfortable.
On the Day
To keep everything flowing beautifully, ceremonies will begin at the agreed time.
A little flexibility is part of every wedding day, and I’ll always help things feel relaxed while gently keeping everything on track.
Rehearsals
If you’d like me to be part of your rehearsal, I’d love to be there. A small travel cost may apply depending on location.
Rehearsals are typically around 45 minutes, and I’m usually unavailable on Thursdays. If easier, we can also do a relaxed FaceTime run-through at no cost, which works just as well.
Travel
For weddings more than 20km from Taupō, a small travel fee may apply. I’ll always be upfront about this.
